EPA adds three increased-risk disinfectants (Raven, Koeman, DF-Pro Part A) and one safer disinfectant (DF-Pro Part B) to “List N”

Today the EPA added four disinfectants to “List N”. Three of the disinfectants (Raven, Koeman, DF-Pro Part A) are considered increased-risk and one (DF-Pro Part B), is considered safer.

All three of the increased-risk disinfectants contain quaternary ammonium as an active ingredient and the safer disinfectant contains Hydrogen peroxide as an active ingredient. All four of these disinfectants are used on hard nonporous surfaces.

Koeman, DF-Pro Part A, and DF-Pro Part B all are considered able to kill a harder-to-kill pathogen than SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). Raven was tested against SARS-CoV-2.
