EPA adds 8 increased-risk disinfectants (BTC 885 NDC RTU, DV 5-26762, QHA-45-W, CLNSL, Acidshine, Profect Neutral 256, Profect Neutral 128, Profect Neutral 64) to “List N”

Today the EPA added eight disinfectants to “List N”. X of the disinfectants (BTC 885 NDC RTU, DV 5-26762, QHA-45-W, CLNSL, Acidshine, Profect Neutral 256, Profect Neutral 128, Profect Neutral 64) are considered increased-risk.

Five of the increased-risk disinfectants (BTC 885 NDC RTU, DV 5-26762, Profect Neutral 256, Profect Neutral 128, Profect Neutral 64) contain quaternary ammonium as an active ingredient and one product (QHA45-11) contains quaternary ammonium and ethanol; one product (CLNSL) contains sodium hypochlorite as an active ingredient; one product (Acidshine) contains hydrogen peroxide and peroxycetic acid.

All nine of these disinfectants are considered increased-risk and used on hard nonporous surfaces.
